When to check Infectology?

If you experience any of the following situations, it is recommended that you consult with one of our infectious disease specialists:

  • Severe Infectious Diseases: If you have acute or severe infectious diseases, especially if you are immunocompromised (when the body lacks the ability to fight infections or other diseases).
  • Travel-related Infections: If you have recently traveled to areas where infectious diseases are more common and develop symptoms after the trip, an infectious disease specialist can diagnose and treat tropical diseases or other infections acquired abroad.
  • Infections in Immunocompromised Individuals: If you have a medical condition that weakens your immune system, such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, or if you are taking immunosuppressive medications, it is important to consult with an infectious disease specialist to manage any infection properly and avoid complications.
