What are the conditions for visitors and what are the opening hours?
Private Emergency Room, Floor 3: A maximum of two companions are allowed. In case of a third person, he/she must wait in the external areas of the Hospital.
Companion exchange is allowed from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pediatric Emergency Room: Two companions are allowed from 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For patients with isolation: two companions are allowed, either the parents or whoever the parents authorize to accompany the minor.
Adult ER: Upon admission, all patients with care dependency must have a companion. All patients with a hospitalization order may remain with a companion, including patients located in the Fast Track area who are hospitalized.
The hours for changing companions are 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Isolated patients: A companion is allowed if the triage nurse considers it necessary for the initial moment of care. The stay of the companion will be according to the patient's care dependency and will be defined by the area nurse.
Resuscitation: the companion will enter this area if the physician requires him/her to provide information, otherwise he/she should be located in the external part of our emergency department. The permanence of the companion is defined by the nursing staff and the area's emergency physician after the initial care.
In each of the shifts according to the needs, overcrowding and/or contingency or low occupancy; we evaluate the number of companions that will enter the Fastrack and pediatrics areas.
What can I bring to a patient I am accompanying?
We recommend taking into account all the personal hygiene items required by the patient.
Can I call to inquire about the condition of the patient I am accompanying?
No. Patients in the emergency cubicles do not have fixed telephones and external calls are not received at the nursing stations.

How is the accompaniment in SALA ERA?

This person must follow the rules of behavior in the room for the protection of both: not to lie on the bed, not to consume food in the cubicle, not to leave objects lying on the floor and not to connect cables at the patient's bedside.
