It is indicated for people with droopy eyelids or bags that create a tired appearance and may even affect vision. It is essential to clarify that this procedure focuses exclusively on the intervened area, so it is not intended for the correction of periocular expression lines (crow's feet), dynamic wrinkles, or the repositioning of the ciliary area (eyebrows).
The comprehensive approach to the four eyelids is usually performed under general anesthesia to ensure maximum patient comfort. For procedures exclusive to the upper eyelids, local anesthesia is chosen. In both cases, the procedure is outpatient, allowing for comfortable recovery at home with specialized medical follow-up.
